DESCRIPTION

AION, one of the fruits of Jung’s most creative and prolific periods, is a truly amazing work.  In the words of the late Edward Edinger, in this work Jung gives birth to a whole new discipline: archetypal psychohistory as he traces the changes and developments in the image of the Self vis-a-vis the Christian vision of God and of the god man.

We will deal with this dynamic ever-changing vision of the Self, with the question of evil and Jung’s vigorous rejection of the doctrine of the privation boni and with the question of Jung’s rapport with astrology.
