DESCRIPTION
Much has been written about the analytic process, but this seminar attempts to move beyond the theoretical approaches of these discourses. It begins with the mere phenomena of the analytic encounter in order to illuminate its archetypal base. The specific elements of each session of analysis are outlined and discussed in detail. By this attempt at simplification the seminar points inevitably to the underlying archetype of the Dyad, a universal image incarnated anew in Analysis
Jim Fitzgerald is a Jungian analyst with a private practice in London. His background is Ancient Classics and a career in Primary school teaching. He holds a Diploma from the C.G. Jung Institute in Zurich, and is a member of The Independent Group of Analytical Psychologists and of The Guild of Analytical Psychologists. He has lectured widely, in the UK and abroad.
