Beginning with the fairy tale “The Spirit in the Bottle” the seminar will examine the mysterious figure of Mercurius as THE transformative presence in the analytical encounter. The various alchemical phases and operations will be discussed especially in terms of their relationship with colours, metals, moods and the Individuation process as a whole.

Robert holds university degrees in philosophy and in management and holds the Diploma as Analytical Psychologist from the C G Jung Institute in Kuesnacht (Zurich). He has taught in many schools of psychotherapy both in Italy and abroad and is particularly interested in fairytale interpretation, alchemy, active imagination and the interface between analytical psychology and religious sentiment. He is a member of AGAP, IAAP and is president of the Italian association, ARPA.
